About me

I am a trauma informed E-RYT 500 teacher, a yoga teacher trainer and British Wheel of Yoga 500 hour teacher.

I have been practising yoga since the late 90’s and sharing the teachings of yoga since 2000. I turned to Ashtanga yoga to help support a herniated disc sustained through professional ballet training where I discovered the compassionate, healing benefits of a yoga practice.  I  delight in the gifts yoga offers on so many levels.

Training in the Viniyoga style with my main teacher David Charlton with whom I continue to study with regularly, I am hungry to learn more and share the joys of all aspects of yoga.
These days my practice works around meditation, chanting, breathwork and gentle asana practice.

I have made a specialism working with Yin and Restorative yoga. Over the years, I have qualified in teaching yoga to children, children with special needs and people living with cancer. I have trained with some of the world's most prestigious teachers including Davd Swenson, Joey Miles, AG Mohan, Max Strom, Judith Hanson Lasater and have assisted and co-led Mysore programs in London where I lived and worked for 20 years.

I strive to make the ancient teachings of yoga accessible for all, whether I am running weekly classes, workshops or teacher training programmes.

I live near Edinburgh with my husband, kids and our whippet River who you may see in my reels from time to time. To wind down I love getting into nature whether I am walking, cycling or in the kayak, and being with our children who we home educate.

You can find me teaching in Edinburgh at Hillside Yoga Collective/Ashtanga Yoga Edinburgh and LIla Yoga.

Nadine is an excellent teacher. Class is so informative and delivered with sunshine and warmth. Always a joy to attend. Helpful and on point.

Going to Nadine’s Yin is like being wrapped in a cosy blanket, your shoulders soften, and over time you feel a little more ease in your body.
